SpaDiS v5.0™ is a software-based technology.

Vearncombe & Associates' principal application of SpaDiS v5.0™ to date has been in the effective evaluation and location of mineralisation for the exploration and mining industry.

However, SpaDiS can be applied within the spectrum of industries handling spatial data.

Based on auto-correlation and fractal principles, the technology is effective at all scales ie., from the province scale to details within an ore shoot.

This latest release enhances significantly, the ability for a Company to expedite the enlargement of their resource base and mineable resources, and enables the technology to fit naturally into any operation globally. Significant functionality and key visualisation capabilities have been incorporated including software installer and special licensing. SpaDiS v5.0™ includes a user-friendly GUI and streamlined methods for quickly importing and comparing data from many sources. The software's interactive display makes it easy to view in 2D or 3D, subset data, show relationships between datasets, identify pull-out points, visualise patterns, trends, ore envelopes, grade variance, grade distribution and much more.

The SpaDiS application is written in the IDL programming language. IDL6.2 is used as the development environment.

SpaDiS v5.0™ adds an unbiased view to resource development, whether at exploration or mine planning stages.

As a complementary approach SpaDiS v5.0™ allows users to validate assessments made from other geological perspectives, including geostatistics and exploration drilling.
